Wyoming Mountains

There has been so much to be grateful for while living out here in the Big Horn Mountains. Someday I'll create a poem (I worked on one last night around our sizzling campfire). I wonder as I wander with my mouth open in awe as we take our side x side and explore the trails, always finding a river or stream Hank can take a swim in. So, I'll use a good old-fashioned bullet list and of course pictures to share with you about all I've been experiencing these miraculous days with Steve and Hank.

  • Fresh Mountain Air
  • Every night a great night's sleep  Zzzzzz
  • Blacktooth Mountain - to the far right of the pic covered in snow yet.
  • Green meadows where the deer and the antelope play

Our campfire last night

Lost in the clouds as a thundershower moves across the mountains.

Bear and Hank

  • Making new friends whom we are so grateful for!
  • Making memories!
  • Working, cleaning, having fun on the ranch
  • Watching wildlife in the yard
  • Summer wildflowers blooming everywhere
  • Mountain Birds
  • Bluebird-colored skies

I'm thinking a Thrush lives in this huge, recycled nest. However, she/he medium sized bird doesn't stand still long enough for me to take a quality picture to look it up. I'm going to keep trying! There are definitely babies in there!

Lots of flowers,
and the daisies should be blooming any day giving me enough for bouquets!
Happy Weekend!
